Artist: Kevin Stiles School: North Allegheny

Notes: This is my submission for the video unit.  I took inspiration for this project from the children's book Harold and the Purple Crayon and decided to bring the hand-drawn style to life using a green screen and video editing to make a live action recording interact with the drawings.  The disjointed events are meant to add to the feeling that the whole story, from the moment the boy enters his room, take place in his imagination during a dream.  This project took an immense amount of effort to complete, so I hope you enjoy it.

I really like the way the artist combined drawn animation to a real life video to make a whole new storyline. It is really interesting and it looks like it took a lot of time and effort to make.

I find this really cool how he was able to get all the positioning right in the video. The idea is interesting and reminds me of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

I like this video becue it is very well animated. Also I like it because everything is in black and white except for him. I think this idea was different and thats what makes it good.
