The way that the images are layered makes it look almost like a physical collage, like with cutout newspapers. The effect used also gives it a painterly quality that I like.

I really liked this piece because of the way the artist is able to draw your eye up from the woman at the bottom towards the man at the top. The bright yellow flower stands out, and the image forms a point leading up to the man with the accordian. I also liked how the bright flowers contrasted with the black and white images that made up the rest of the piece, as well as how the piece had a texture that made it seem painted.
