9/16/13: Panning of audio refers to the spread of a signal into a steroe or multi-channel sound field. Also panning can refer to the channeling of certain sounds into specific ears.

9/17/13 ADSR stands for Attack Decay Sustain Release.

It means that it creates a sudden change in the sound, whether loud or soft. Also we could control the speed of change and the rate of release.
